Bio: My general interests include the study of ecology in crop production and sustainable agricultural methods. I am interested in approaching research questions on how plant interactions influence soil microbiome health. I look forward to using this information to develop sustainable agricultural practices that will improve soil health and increase plant productivity.
Previously, I was a biological laboratory technician at the United States Department of Agriculture where I worked on studying plant defense compounds produced during abiotic and biotic stress on maize. I also worked at a medical reference laboratory and volunteered at a ranger station in Wekiwa Springs State Park.
