Bio: I am interested in the development and use of computational methods to better understand the relationships between crop phenotype and the soil microbiome, specifically as it relates to switchgrass. Towards this goal, I look forward to uncovering the potential of machine learning and artificial intelligence in an agricultural setting. Previously, I was a research assistant for the United States Department of Agriculture and for the Institute for Tuberculosis Research at the University of Illinois Chicago. As an undergraduate, I was an intern in the Molecular Ecology Lab at The Chicago Botanic Garden.
